BLESSING OF ANIMALS

The blessing of animals will take place on Saturday, October 7th, at 10:00AM in front of the church. We invite you to bring all your pets - small and large for a blessing. Tell your friends and neighbors to come along as well.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS God’s - How to do it book!

The Adult Bible Class is held every Sunday at 9:30 AM. All are welcome to attend. In this day and age - there are “how to do it” books on all sorts of topics. Join us as we read God’s “How to do it Book” and obtain a better understanding of how God intended us to live!

CAMPBELL’S LABELS UPDATE

The MK Society is ONLY collecting Campbell’s labels now. These labels are used to purchase items for the School of Christian Living, family fun nights and the parish picnic. Please deposit the whole label in the Campbell’s container located in the vestibule of the parish center. The program will be ending 12/31/17. Thank you.

HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF EFFORT

The collection for the Hurricane Harvey Relief effort will continue thru to the end of the month. There will be a collection at the back of the church after each Mass. Last week $440.00 was collected in support of our brothers and sister devastated by the storm. Thank you for your kindness and generous hearts! In the words of Prime Bishop Anthony, “Praying that the Lord Jesus Christ will show love and mercy to all.” Amen

SPOJNIA SUNDAY

September 24th is designated as “Spojnia Sunday” within the church. We give special attention to our sister Fraternal and ask that you support their programs and BECOME A MEMBER of Spojnia and/or the Spojnia Credit Union. District #4 will host a coffee hour and presentation on the Polish National Union of America that day.

CATHEDRAL LADIES GUILD MEMBERS

We will be holding a meeting on October 1st at 9:30 AM and are hosting coffee hour. If you are able, please bake something to share that day. Thank you and look forward to seeing you all there. Marcia Zgoda

“APRIL’S MUSIC WITH MAR”

Music with Mar starts Thursday, Sept. 21st @10:30 AM! Come experience this wonderful program that provides an interactive music class for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers. THE KOSCIUSZKO FOUNDATION - WNY

The Kosciuszko Foundation WNY Chapter & the Polish American Congress will hold an evening reception at The Buffalo History Museum on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in honor of General Thaddeus Kosciuszko the Polish hero who fought nobly in the American Revolution. The United Nations declared 2017 in his honor for his great contributions to the freedom we now enjoy. The evening begins with cocktails and appetizers at 6PM followed by a lecture & films at 7PM by Dr. James Oula. Admission is $10 and free for Museum Members. POLISH HERITAGE DANCERS OF WNY 20TH ANNIVERSARY GALA

The Polish Heritage Dancers of WNY invite you to attend their 20th Anniversary Gala which begins with a 4pm Mass on Saturday, October 14, 2017 here at the Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral followed by a reception at Kloc’s, 1245 Seneca Creek Rd, West Seneca, NY at 6 PM. The reception will begin with a Cash Bar at 6:00 PM, 6:30 Family Style Dinner, 7:30 Program, and 8 -11:00 Music by Special Delivery. Cost: $45 per person, deadline 10/5. The Education and Youth Commission is sponsoring a raffle to aid in funding college stipends for members. ANNUAL 2016 ALLEGHANY BUS EXCURSION

The Annual 2017 Fall Alleghany Event Center Bus Excursion is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2017. Reserve your seat now with Don Barnes. The cost of the trip is $40.00. This includes the Motor Coach Bus Trip, Refreshments on the Bus, Door Prizes, and Players Rewards Credit $25 coins/$5.00 food for a total of $30.00. Plan on arriving at the Bishop Peplowski Parish Hall by 10 AM. The Motor Coach Buses will leave the parking lot at 10:30 AM. Don’t forget to bring valid Federal/State Issued ID, i.e. a NYS Drivers License and your Seneca/Alleghany Players Card if you have one. All bonus awards will be placed on a player’s card.
